This series followed one called "Shelf Life", which consisted of simplified, thickly painted objects from my personal visual vocabulary, sitting on "shelves". The shelves gradually morphed into compartments, which then shifted in size and scale. In these pieces, the viewer is asked to see and assimilate multiple images within one picture plane, much like in stream of consciousness or associative thinking.
