Lately I have found myself drawn once again to a grid-like format. It feels like I am "circling back around" on myself and addressing the grid from a new angle and with new imagery. A lot of my personal icons are still there (or are reappearing) - chair, vessel, shoe, house. In addition, there are new ones that have mysteriously entered my psyche - magnet, conveyor belt, twisting tube. As in past series, these apparently unrelated random objects exist together in a grid structure, creating a new order that is both harmonious and dissonant.
